🌿 About Seyi Precious Laseinde MA, LPC/LCMHCA
Precious’s clients appreciate her unique blend of warmth and clinical clarity. She brings both compassionate presence and practical structure into the therapy space, offering care that is supportive, grounded, and results-oriented.
Using an eclectic approach, Precious is a trauma-informed clinician utilizing EMDR (trained), CBT, SFBT, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to support adults, couples, and families navigating PTSD, anxiety, depression, medical trauma, and life transitions. Her approach recognizes that emotional well-being is deeply connected to relational health, identity, and life transitions — particularly during seasons such as pregnancy, postpartum, and marriage.
With experience supporting women, individuals and couples through complex transitions, Precious is skilled at addressing the multifaceted aspects of her clients’ lives, including emotional regulation, communication patterns, stress management, and shifting roles within family systems. She approaches treatment holistically, recognizing the interconnected nature of mental, emotional, relational, and (when desired) spiritual well-being.
Precious earned her Master’s degree in Counseling from Xavier University, Cincinnati, Ohio and began her career working in structured clinical settings that strengthened her ability to assess and treat layered, interrelated concerns. Her early professional experience cultivated a thoughtful, steady approach to care — one that balances empathy with intentional treatment planning. She believes that self-awareness, emotional stability, and healthy relational patterns are foundational to long-term flourishing.
Her grounded humility and calm presence foster meaningful therapeutic partnerships. Precious is committed to walking alongside her clients with both gentleness and direction, empowering them to move from survival toward sustainable growth.
As a wife and mother, Precious understands firsthand the emotional and relational shifts that accompany life’s most transformative seasons. Outside of her work with clients, she enjoys cooking, spending time with her family, serving at her local church, and creating space for rest and renewal.
